About the Outreach Program
Each season since 2002 Golden Isles Live! has provided live concerts to local area students. Annually about 1,000 elementary, middle school, high school and home school students attend the Student Outreach concerts.
Live concerts enrich the lives of students by introducing them to a kind of music they may have never been exposed and put them in an adult concert setting which has many teaching moments!
It is one of the most important things we do as a Community Concert Association.
Each performance is a teaching lesson designed to personally involve the students and encourage them to participate in the performance.
Student Outreach enjoys working with other community music organizations to maximize the impact of having professional musicians in our area. We are proud to have partnered with GIYO, GIAHA and Island Concert.

Student Outreach is totally funded through annual and individual ticket purchases to evening concerts, patron donations, business sponsorships and regional grants.
